I love Tower Defence Games and this was the smoothist flowing Graphics ever. Many TD games are flicky sprites, but the simple almost a vector animation type Radiant uses are pleasing to the eye. Sounds are pleasant too. Good learning curve. I got this the free version on my phone , I liked it so much i got the updates plus the weapons that come with that. It was worth it. I think here you get the whole thing. I bought it on steam here also. I do wish it had another 100 levels but hey, heres hoping i see a Radient 2 soon.. This is a good game, I guess. However, because of mistakes I made in playing levels 1-3, I cannot get through level 4, and there is apparently no way to reset the game to level one. All I can do is keep playing level four over and over again, losing each time. This is not fun. I realize it is my own fault, but there seems to be no way out built into the game. So you have to study how to play it properly before you play it the first time, or you will get stuck with a game you no longer want to play in a very short time.. Very meh Baroque as a Joke's review pretty much says it all. A comment on the review also adds that it was a free mobile app with easy wave, easy wave, impossible wave - just to get people to pay for extra content (which apparently is all present in the Steam version). I can't be bothered to fact check that though or even tell you what that content is. In fact, I can't even be bothered to think of anything witty to say about this game. Those furry yeti looking things would make comfy merchandise pillows I guess.. An excellently made, wonderfully performing tower-defence title. Very funny writing and a good story makes this game all the better, my only gripe being with enemies a little too strong, and slowdown if you mass flamethrowers/acid. Radiant Defense is a tower defense game. Its missions are played on a grid. Enemies get one or more starting points, and they have to make their way to the ending point. Towers have to be placed on modules, and while there are fixed modules for each mission, you're also allowed to put some down yourself, which means you're allowed to change the route of the enemies.There are about a dozen different towers, including machine guns, laser guns, sniper rifles, and tesla towers. There are also super weapons, which are more expensive than regular towers but have much better attacks. Regular towers can be upgraded four times during missions. There isn't any upgrading outside the missions.There are also a dozen or more types of enemies. They can be fast; they can be shielded; they can spawn more enemies; they can be resistant to some of your towers; and more. The in-game information isn't great, so you have to learn by playing and trying things out.The missions in the game tend to be long. Most have over 30 waves, and the peak is somewhere around 70. Luckily, you get a save before each wave, so if one goes badly then you can load and try again. This is friendly but also necessary because your score for each mission depends on how much money you have unused at the end of each wave. So your goal is to kill everything while spending as little money as possible, which adds a little extra strategy.Overall, Radiant Defense is a pretty vanilla, but it works well enough, especially for the price. It doesn't do anything new or innovative, but it's colorful and humorous, and it took me over 30 hours to beat the 15-mission campaign plus earn all of the achievements. The campaign starts out very easy but then gets tough at the end, so don't give up on it after only an hour or two.. Great game. This game gives you a bit more to think about than just the placement of your defense towers: you have to create such a route so the mobs will have to deal with more concentrated power or a longer route following the case you have to deal with.If you like tower defense games this one is pretty fun to play.
